  • Wash & Care
    • Wash separately in plenty of water the first few times to remove any excess dye that may have remained on the fabric surface. We recommend washing before sewing, because cotton and linen fabrics always shrink in the first wash. Do not soak, machine wash hot at 140F/60C, do not use chlorine bleach, do not tumble dry, iron hot, dry clean allowed.

Melooni

Melooni means �melon� in Finnish. Maija Isola re-imagined the fruit as a modern, abstract work of art. Three simple concentric circles of vibrant color. It evokes the beauty and character of the fruit with bold colors and simple lines. Created in 1963, it continues to be one of Marimekko�s most popular color patterns. In 2009, Maija�s daughter, Kristina Isola, expanded her mother�s vision with Pieni Melooni, a condensed version of the original pattern.
